Our garden has been spared, thankfully, from the awful storms that have been coming through the Bismarck area lately. We even were in the basement for a while Sunday evening when we had 60-75 mph straight-line winds.
Most of our garden is thriving. I picked and ate our first cucumbers a couple of days ago. As soon as we have eaten a few, I will start pickling. I have canned 21 pints of Dilly Beans already. Of course, the zucchini plants are thriving as well. So today I made the first of many Zucchini Breads that I normally make and freeze to eat throughout winter. I only made 4. I normally make six at a time. It has begun.
What are you doing with your fresh produce?
