This weekend was the fall city-wide garage sale weekend. Unlike most weekends where only 20-30 sales are happening, this weekend had a couple of hundred sales going on. It was a junker’s dream.
The photo above is a picture of our haul on Thursday from about 45 sales.
My Mom came to town, so we decided to hit sales on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. All together we hit about 140 sales. Yes, that is crazy. Yes, it was tiring, but oh was it a blast.
I have a lot of sorting and cleaning to do, although Mom did a lot of it before she had to leave today. Thanks, Mom.
I hope to provide more pictures in the next week, but I had to at least show you my scales. I have never seen a kitchen scale at a garage sale before. I drool over those I see online. This weekend I found not one…
Not two…
Don’t you love the rustiness of this one?
But three, scales.
This last one is my favorite. I love the sage/moss green. It says 1906 Model and Sears Roebuck & Co.. I already cleaned it up, and it is being displayed in my kitchen.
What do you think? Do you have a favorite? Do you have a weakness for kitchen scales?
