Where, Oh Where Should I Go Next?

Recently I came across a post by Katie the Scrapbook Lady regarding her US Travels.  S She included a large map of which States she had been too.  I had to check it out.

I am one of those travelers that likes to take a different route when I am going to a destination I have been before.  I like seeing things fly by my car window.  Life, experiences, morals, values, priorities change as the scenery changes.  I like to imagine what people do where they live. I think this started when I was traveling the State as the 1987 North Dakota State Dairy Princess.  Yes, I was…but that is a story for another day.

Here is the map of where I have been.  I did not count a State if I had only been to the airport.  For example, I flown through the Denver, CO airport many times because when flying out of North Dakota, you must fly either through Denver or Minneapolis to get any where.  North Dakota still is rural, back roads USA.

After clicking on all of the States I have been to, I was pleasantly surprised to find I have hit 21 out of the 50 States.  Not bad. I have lived in 3 States, North Dakota, Washington and Idaho so no wonder my map is predominantly blue colored on the West.

As we are planning our summer vacation…if we can afford the gasoline as prices continue to go higher and higher, we will have to decide if we want to try to color the rest of the West blue or should we start hitting of the East.

Click on the link under the map and see what parts of the USA or the World you have been too. Let me know if you are planning on a summer vacation?
