Woo-hoo, finally garage sales are starting here in North Dakota. I have been missing the search for treasures. On Friday, I had to run some errands in town, so I planned my trip, so I could hit 5 garage sales. Didn’t find too much, but it still was fun to look. My first find was this kitschy perpetual calendar. Something about it just called me to purchase it. I listed it right away in my Store. I already had someone reserve it. I don’t do reserves too often. Since I had just listed it and she says she will pay on Monday, I decided to take a chance.
I found these Fire King cereal bowls. I really like Fire King products. These have a light green at the bottom. My favorite color.
The final item was this kitschy set, French-milled soap and napkin set. It made me laugh. Seems strange to put together soap and napkins, but this just seems like something that will appeal to someone out there.
Looking forward to seeing more garage sales out there. In the mean time I need to get more things listed in my store.
Did you find any garage sales? What did you find?

I have a kitschy perpetual calendar almost exactly like that, only it has western boots instead of shoes. It was my husband’s when he was a kid.
Stephanie, I bet yours with cowboy boots would be so cute. How fun.
Those Fire King cereal bowls are gorgeous! I would so scoop those up if I saw them and the perpetual calendar is hilarious – I love it 🙂 Great finds!
