I found another SCALE. Yes, I love old scales. I was so thrilled when I found this lovely green scale since green is my favorite color. However, I just listed in It’s Still Life shop since I have several. You can bet I will enjoy it while I have it though.
Look at this wicker rocking horse. It isn’t in perfect condition because some of the wicker is broken on the seat. I think it would be so cute sitting on top of a ledge in an entry way. I want to list it, but I am having a hard time finding a large enough box.
Since I told you I love green, I have to show you this green train case. What else are they called? Anyway, this one is in pretty good condition, so it would make a great storage container anywhere in the house.
I found this interesting totem like piece in my searching. Not sure what it is. It has totem carvings in the handle. Then there is a bowl in the head at the bottom. The handle actual has soot on it. Any idea what it is?
At the same garage sale I picked up this wood carving of an African face or at least I think that is what it is. It has a bowl on the top of the head. Again, I do not know what it is, but I am always drawn to wood pieces.
I try to focus on vintage items when I go junkin’ but I thought these were cool, and they went cheap at an auction sale. They are shot glasses inside a pool bracket. The bottom of each glass had a picture of a pool ball. Just fun.
Also got this at an auction sale. Love that it has two flat keys with it, and that the safety deposit number, 199, is painted in gold on the box. What a fun way to store papers. The industrial look still seems to be a hot seller.
Some of these items are listed for sale. Others I am working on yet. My Mom was here this week to stay with my boys while I was in Minnesota. She stayed an extra day and helped me wash, clean and get my inventory up to date. It sure goes a lot faster when I have help. Thanks, Mom.
Did you have any luck in your junkin’? If so, leave a link to a blog post in the comments so I can check it out.
