I had a wonderful weekend. I went to an auction sale on both Saturday and Sunday. I had a great time and found some fun items. The sale on Saturday was outside in the backyard of the person selling the items. It was set against beautiful hills. It was sunny, no wind and 60 degrees. It was absolutely a peace day.
But I probably should have been getting ready for next weekend. I am now switching gears to scrapping. The photo above is my floor. I am trying to get ready for a Scrapbook Retreat with my sisters and niece. We are headed to Maplelag, MN near Detroit Lakes for a 3 day scrapping and relaxation retreat. With a little bit of hiking and a lot of chatting thrown in, it is a blast. We arrive at 1 pm on Thursday and leave on noon on Sunday. All meals are provided. I really can’t wait.
This will be our third year doing this. Last year we missed because my niece got married on the weekend of the retreat. We kept teasing her that we weren’t sure which was more important, but we did go to her wedding. Happy 1 Year Anniversary, Lynae.
However, I haven’t scrapped since early spring so I have a lot to get ready for. I will try to do a post on purchases from this weekend, but there will be fewer posts this week. Then next week I hope to get back into my blog, It’s Still Life Etsy and of course, junking. I have finished putting tthings away from last weekend’s funky junk vintage sale. Everything is now inventoried or donated. So glad a lot of it sold. It feels great.
Do you have a hobby that takes you away from it all?
