30 Days of Thankful

Day 10 2013 copy

It is halfway through November, and I am still working on my 30 Days of Thankful album.  If you want to know more check out my first post on my 30 Days album.

I am up-to-date with my pages, so I thought I would should you a couple of them, as well as link up to Cathy Zielske’s post today.  It is fun to see what others are doing, and what they are thankful for.

Day 14 2013 copy

Day 15 2013 copy

Looks like I have been focusing more on things than people these last few pages. I usually go with whatever crosses my mind when I sit down to do my layout for the day.  Guess I need to get some photos of people to include for the remainder of the month.

Stop and take a moment to think about what you are grateful for today.

  1. I really enjoyed seeing your photos and reading your journaling! I had to smile over your first photo, as I have been a deer hunting widow myself lately. My hubby just got back from a 9-day trip out of state {we live in Arizona and deer tags are very scarce here}. You are so lucky to live close to your sister, and even luckier that she likes to scrapbook with you! Have a great weekend.

    • I have enjoyed reading your journaling as well. Being a deer hunting widow is not all bad, is it? 🙂 My sister lives 2 hours away from me, but much closer than it used to be. We used to live 15.5 hours apart. You are lucky to live in Arizona where it is warm.

  2. Hello, so glad to see your photos this week. I’m lucky to have my one sister nearby and we have scrapped together too. Sadly, she’s moving about 20mts away and I know we won’t see each other as much. How wonderful to have new washer/dryer and a big laundry room, it’s on my wish list for one day. Sorry to hear the boys are sick, hope they get well soon.
Have a great week and see you next Friday!

  3. Sometimes it is the little things in life that really make a difference in our day. I think it is totally appropriate to stop and notice and acknowledge those things that we are thankful for – love your page about your sister – wish mine was close enough to scrap with me!

  4. I had my laundry room in Week 1 and I’m glad to see someone else included it. As I was putting it in I was thinking, “Boy, I never thought I’d be thankful for something as mundane as in home laundry!” But it’s those kinds of things that you use every week – sometimes every day in my case, that make life easier. I’m sorry the sickies have come to your house. we just got rid of them at mine and they are no fun…sometimes it’s the slight bugs that are the most annoying. You are sick enough to not feel good but not enough that you feel like you can stop and take an easy. Or at least that’s how they make me feel!
